Riding, owning and showing horses for over 35 years, Gladys has also taught several of the stables along Long Island's prestigious North Shore in New York.  It was during the later portion of this period that Gladys was a member of the renowned "Long Island Dressage and Combined Training Association" (LIDCTA).

In July 2006, Gladys and Rich moved to Warrenton, Virginia to establish River's Edge Farm for retired show and sport horses.  Gladys has a wealth of equestrian knowledge and experience, combined with a deep commitment to providing a dignified living for retired horses.
